Jebsen Building Products to supply 10,000+ timber door sets to world-class hotel resort in Macau 

Panelled timber door sets meet performance and style required by Wynn Palace

Jebsen Building Products has been awarded the contract to supply timber door sets to the hotel towers of the new top-notch resort in Macau, the Wynn Palace, which is owned by one of the world’s largest gaming operators. Described by the Wynn Resorts as its "single most important project", the Wynn Palace occupies a 21-hectare site on the reclaimed land between the islands of Taipa and Coloane, also known as the Cotai Strip.

The new US$4 billion resort is currently under construction at Cotai area of Macau.

With the aim to establish new standards in excellence and elegance, the highest levels of finish and quality decorative materials are required for the foremost five-star resort. Shadbolt bespoke panelled timber doorsets were the natural choice to grace the space within the luxurious hotel with its distinctive finish, whilst fulfill the performance requirements requested by the Design Team of Wynn Design & Development (WDD).

In this project, Jebsen Building Products will supply 10,000+ fully finished & certified doorsets for the hotel’s guest rooms, corridor areas and other public areas offering exceptional fire resistance, sound reduction, stability and mechanical performance, as well as outstanding quality in appearance to its guests and staff.

The Wynn Palace covers a construction floor area of more than 450,000 square metres. The new resort would comprise of five luxury hotel towers connected in a “bone shape” and a mixed-use podium comprising gaming, dining, retail and convention facilities, as well as numerous specialist attractions including a 30,000-square metre performance lake that will feature a light show. The project is expected to be complete by early 2016.
